apparently there was a bug that prevented from double rare loots dropping, and this bug has been fixed now.

Did an urgoz run last night... 10ish Gold drops, and 4 gold chests. At once point, 4 drops in a row were golds. :O

2 golds 1 from a chest 1 from drop +10 def cold shield zomg LEET! 1/4 chests were gold one we didnt even go to... 3 purples the worst stats EVER! omg i was only really happy about that shield, its great for pvp! |

Seems to me that the drops are only what you'd expect to get on a tombs run or similar, except that the Elite missions here take one hell of a lot longer to complete.
I'd say pound for pound they are a waste of effort - even with "double" the drop chances. I havent been on one yet, and I dare say that if I did I would be extatic to get a zodiac bow / sword, however the main reason for wanting to go would be to see what its like. Knowing my luck I'd get Assassin daggers - and I havent got an Assassin lol. |

Fun thing happened to me earlier tonight. I was really curious about this SB monk idea, so I went to just try and "tank" something in Urgoz's Warden. Little did I know, there were suicide bombers of some sort who charged at me along with a few more other monsters. As soon as I was hit, a rare falchion (if I recall correctly) dropped.
Too bad I was dead and couldn't pick it up.. |

First off Ive never done an elite mission so I dont know what the drops were like before.My first run in The Deep with a PUG netted 4 or 5 golds from chests,best was a req 11 Barbed Zodiac Daggers 15^50,rest were essentially stuff I'll never use,consisiting of staves,wayward wands and straw effigys.That PUG made it to KAnaxai but all but 4 of us bailed so we died attempting to kill him.Personally other than doing an elite I found it rather time consuming and not worth the effort,although after this weekend when all the people from the island no longer have access to them I'll give them another shot .
